I have been trying for a while now to incorporate a more painterly coloring style for my transformer pics, (trying to tone down a bit the CG look), and to come up with some kind of method that doesn't take me a bazillion years.

This pic is the first one on that line. It took around 6 hours whole, from sketch to signature, and that’s eons faster than my previous method. I think this is a keeper. 0w0

The image was inspired by having read a lot of RiD recently (I dig the design for SS a LOT) and by the seed of a fic. So much fear, and anger, and pain for Starscream in that story… it left me wanting to draw angry, bloody snarls.
