Finally finished with this damn thing - it started off as a silhouette, demon concept sketch that somehow morphed into a vicious line-art monstrosity, which then somehow turned into a challenge to work only in greyscale and this is the end result. It's a combination of a necromorph and a werewolf from Bloodborne. It's also supposed to have long hair, but that'll be in another piece.

Anywho - story time:

This creature is called a Bog/Swamp Mother and it, of course, lives in swamps or bogs. It is a twisted spirit of a woman has perished in the bog, most likely murdered by a vicious husband or lover. It kills anyone, trying to avenge itself in death. However, it cannot differentiate between men and women - everyone, to a Bog Mother, looks with its deadly past love.

It kills by luring people in close, else by mimicking a corpse and drawing in those with a morbid curiosity, or mimicking the voice of a victim's loved one; after drawing a victim in close, it grabs them with its long limbs, before devouring them with massive maw, filled with flexible, centipede-leg-like teeth.
