As Totodile develop and their bodies get ready to evolve into that of Croconaw, they begin building up more muscle mass and bulk. Totodile also begin to walk more on their hind legs versus all fours, building up the muscle mass in them. This is done at an exponentially accelerated rate compared to their feral brethren, who might take years of surviving and self-training, to evolve. Their torsos also begin to lengthen out, their tails grow thicker, the red spines grow larger, and the crest that Croconaw sport begin to grow at last. This is the final sign that their evolution is just around the corner.
