Okay so this is a map of the world of Amara, the world in a game that i'm working on (for college) takes place in (or at least, the story). The world of Amara is split up into two main continents and an ice cap.

The larger of the two continents is Galaya, which is a highly varied land with large, flat, hot, open plains in the south, thick forests in the middle and a cold, mountainous north, split into many smaller countries, the royal Amaran palace is situated in the country called Palentia where the King sits upon the winged throne.

The smaller continent is Tergei, which is a country mostly comprised of a harsh desert, strange ruins and buildings dotting the landscape, though the northern part of the country manages to transition into a more habitable, greener area.

The icecap in the south is called the coldlands and there are no real settlements there as the environment makes it almost totally uninhabitable, only the hardiest can survive out there. There are a few research outposts and resource gathering posts as the flora and fauna that live there can be exploited for some quite useful and unique materials that can't be obtained anywhere else, not to mention the abundance of minerals and such.

In the large ocean that surrounds both of the continents there are hundreds of small islands dotted around which have never been fully documented or charted, no one really knows what is out there but there are bound to be some rare materials and exotic beasts in the unknown lands.
