You know, I find it pretty weird how I said that I would draw more wereechidna stuff outside of Halloween, but I just didn't, because I never got the opportunity to. I hope that won't happen again, because I have a lot of fun with my little Sonic AU.

Anyway, this is one of my first pieces of Halloween art I planned to make when I'm not working on my MAProject part, and yes, my design for Knuckles here was inspired by an old transformation comic, but also an old drawing I made when I was a kid, because Sonic Unleashed is one of my favorite childhood video games besides Bolt and Okami, and I was pretty disappointed that Knuckles wasn't in it, werebeast or not. Man, I sounded like a pretty spoiled kid for not accepting that Knux might want to take a day off. XD

The characters from left to right are Rankles The Otter, Chomps, Nilla The Werekaiju, Knuckles The Wereechidna, and Chip The Light Gaia. Knuckles and Chip are the only characters canon to the video game series while Nilla is an OC, Chomps only appearance was from a cartoon, and Rankles is based on an old April Fools prank by Sega of America, claiming that Rankles can be found in Sonic 3 & Knuckles, and the first person to do so would win a million pounds. Well, he was, that is, through a glitch that temporarily changed Knuckles' color palette from red to green. I just hated teasing this random green character in the foreground of another old art piece I made, and never revealing who it was for over 3 years.

Chomps on the other hand is Knuckles' pet dinosaur, and my design for him is a fan-made redesign, because I thought his original design from Sonic Underground was kind of strange. I think he was supposed to be a quadrupedal theropod, but he looked too much like a carnivorous sauropod, so I made my design for him a Dromaeosaurus, because it was believed that they walked on four legs and ran on two, just like the Spinosaurus did.

Anyway, my next piece of Halloween themed fan art may or may not be Fakemon or Digimon related, it just depends on what I'm in the mood to draw; I might draw something original that day.
