Jinmenken Pack by Shadane

Jinmenken Pack

Shadane

I don't know if this will ever become a full fledged series one day since I already have a future film project about jinmenkens planned, but unless that's possible, I could probably make animation memes about this.
So a little about these characters; these guys are known as the Spice Pack, a pack consisting of retired sled dogs and jinmenkens who were born wild. I'm probably going to get into arguments about that, but just to make things clear, the plants they're named after are herbs and spices. They may seem as though they're living in paradise, though it's not all sunshine and rainbows if you're different.
I've kind of been afflicted with manga syndrome lately, so I will do my best to name these guys in proper left-to-right order with bolded names.

Burnet is their alpha, the one with the traditional black and white coat typically associated with huskies, and no mate to call alpha female at the moment. He's an ex-sled dog and pretty much the voice of reason and has no tolerance for nonsense. He uses his racing knowledge when hunting, barking mushing commands to tell his pack where to go and carrying what they catch back home on a sleigh.
Ginger is the tawny red husky, serving as a nanny for the pups when their parents aren't home and a delta female. She's kind of catty and rude sometimes, occasionally being scolded by Burnet whenever she makes any disrespectful remarks at any members of the pack. She's also a bit strict when taking care of the pups and has grounded them a few times for sneaking off to play with and talk to Saffron.
Pepper is the black jinmenken with white paws and ears. He is one of the betas and father to the only pups in the pack, as although alphas don't usually allow lower rank hunters to reproduce, Burnet gave him a go ahead. He's in charge of coming up with the best hunting strategies, although he will occasionally accept Ginger's input. He doesn't really take suggestions from Saffron very seriously, even when his mate thinks they're good ideas.
Chicory is the all-white beta female and mother to Pepper's pups. She's kind and sweet and although she doesn't agree with absolutely everything her mate or pack mates do, she does her best to avoid confrontation at all costs. She's occasionally invites Saffron into her den for a bite to eat when her mate and pack mates are out hunting, being one of the few lower rank members of the pack to show him kindness.
Chervil is the gray and brown husky without a vest on and the delta male. He is one of the most skilled hunters in the pack, but has a somewhat cynical personality, being distrusting of most people who are different from him. He has gotten into a few disputes, much to the annoyance of his alpha. Despite this, he's careful not to question Burnet's decisions.
Lastly, there's Saffron, the brownish gray okami on the far right. He is the only wolf with no domesticated lineage in a pack full of huskies, being the lone omega and the butt monkey of the pack. His dark markings imply that he's supposed to be alpha, although he was forced into submission by most of the pack. When Burnet is away, he would often be subject to cruel pranks and humiliating tasks, such as pulling a loaded sleigh without any help, delivering food and water to other members of the pack, and solving disputes in the pack alone which would often end with insults and mockery towards him. His only meals typically consist of scraps and leftovers, which is why he's anorexic. Ginger doesn't allow him near the pups when she's looking after them, believing Saffron is unclean. The straw that broke the camel's back for Saffron was when he nearly died in a mammoth catbear attack and most of his pack mates left him to his fate, which convinced him to leave and become independent, much to Burnet's anger at how his own pack treated his omega.

I'll add more to this story later on, just waiting for my new tablet to come on Saturday.
