No, they're not quite so dopey looking in real life, it's just hard to take a good photo of ALL of them at once. Can't get the best angle.

I made the legs in a different way on most of them (different from the rainbow one, although you can see the one in the back right corner still has the old style legs). With the legs this way, you can bend them and move them around, and they hold their position a bit. Fun to play with. :)

The heads are about 1.5 inches wide, and 1 inch tall, so they're fit-in-the-palm-of-your-hand octopi. The legs are outside that size, making them bigger.
