WIP Argonian Mask Preview (critique requested)

Senpai-Fish

I really wanted to show this off before I did any more work.

I've been wanting to do a Skyrim-based cosplay for almost three years now, and thanks to RedNebulaStudios, I finally have I been able to actually go ahead and start it. This will be my Argonian, Pey'j, who even in game was based on a banded sea snake (or as close as the Xbox version allows).

Seeing as this is my first attempt to make a cosplay AND paint a mask, I am very pleased with the results so far. Believe it or not, a majority of the markings were sponge painted on, then touched up with a very fine paintbrush. I still need to attach the mouth plates and jaw elastics, clear-coat the entire thing, attach chiffon for the vision ports, and then attach the eyes (they are being held in due to the shape of the eye sockets, nothing more) before moving on to the major sewing. This will eventually be a partial, one I hope to have done at least by the end of summer. My brother was kind enough to take these photos for me, but the lighting doesn't do all the subtle work I did justice. Also, I modified the lower jaw using air-dry clay, to fill in the gaps left for the spikes, as female Argonians don't have jaw spikes like the males.
Also, if anyone else wants a mask like this, hit up RedNebulaStudios. The quality is great, the mask is gorgeous in person, and the owner is amazing.

The eyes stare into my soul, but that's some damn fine sculpting.

I think the artist did an amazing job sculpting it xD I'm just glad none of the detail got lost when I painted it.
