First in a series of simple colored character portraits of the main cast of "Children of the Light".

Here's Bud, Raith's long time best buddy and his second in command. Bud's a gentle giant with a heart of gold and a somewhat simple mind, but that doesn't mean that he's "slow". Bud is incredibly good at keeping things organized, remembering tasks that others forget. He's also the unbiased solid rock that keeps their group of friends grounded and sane, the one who can always step in the middle of an argument and diffuse the situation. And if the need arises, he is quite capable of defending himself and those he cares about.

I'm not as happy with this one as some of the others-I'm still not where I'd like to be with large feline faces, especially the ones like Bud, who are large boned/strong characters-he is supposed to have strong jawed, angular features...which I failed at...

Something to practice on later, I suppose. Eventually I'll probably fix this one and add some half-assed shading...
