Agro and I play a game called Hordes made by Privateer Press. Hordes is sort of like Warhammer or Warhammer 40K in which you buy models, assemble them, paint them, and then pit your army against another's. My all-time favorite army so far are the Gatormen who are like swamp-dwelling witchdoctors.
This model is called a Feralgeist
Model was assembled and painted by yours truly.

For this game in particular, you can find it at this link: http://privateerpress.com/hordes
Thankfully, for a miniatures game it isn't prohibitively expensive to start playing. Less than fifty bucks gets you a starting army for yourself (or less than a hundred bucks gets you a two-player starter pack) with quick-start rules so you can try it out and see if you like it. If you do like it, the models you get from the starter kits are exactly the same as the regular models that you use to play with, so you can just start buying the rule books and faction books as well as other models to enhance your game. :)
Here is where I get all of my models, 30% off MSRP and free shipping if you spend 50 bucks or more (if you live in the US): http://www.discountgamesinc.com
Lemme know if you have any questions. :D
