So I think everyone and their dead relatives know by now that my favorite Disney villain and animated woman crush is Maleficent. And perhaps everyone and their living relatives know that I have a thing for Maleficent and Aurora having a relationship more than friends but less than lovers-I don't know-they're in relationship transference.

I think I like them as mother-figure/admiring adopted child with the possibility of a future romantic relationship?

Anyway, mommy dearest Maleficent comforting Aurora, drawn about two months ago in my sketchbook, and it's just taken me forever to finish it, but I did like it enough to color it.

I don't draw people a whole lot but I'm trying to be better, so if Aurora's anatomy is not exactly perfect, that aspect of my illustration skills is underdeveloped at best.
