Recently (1-2 months I think?) randomly restarted playing Neopets funnily enough.
Basically a friend mentioned they were giving away great lootboxes where you could get lucky and open a paintbrush. 
Initially they wanted to check if anyone still had access to their old accounts to donate them those lootbox, so I checked.

Apparently out of 5 accounts that are linked to my email (I remember making mayyyybe 3 of those lol) I still had access to 2. But they realised they forgot their own logins, so I eventually ended up opening the lootboxes for fun and playing it unironically.

Idk if I was super garbage at getting neorich as a kid but it was trivial this time lol. Ended up with 5.5M neopoints already lol.
Now it's just part of my daily routine to log in and do a bunch of dailies before I go to work.

This piece specifically is funny though. I was doing the noob tutorial quests to unlock free content and reached one that said : Submit a fanart to the gallery. I scoffed and thought it was BS for a game to lock some rewards behind essentially user created ad. Then I ended up being nostalgic enough and enjoying the routine enough I actually wanted to do fanart anyway so I did this :3

The weird part : They rejected it from being added to the gallery (wtf I thought they added anyone). I'm still sad about it lol.

Looking back, I think I fucked up the eyes (overkill details when less wouldve been more) but still like it a lot esp considering I barely ever try doing backgrounds at that scale. Got a funny drawing idea inspired by a true neopet story but idk if I'll be too lazy to draw it.

Anyway Neopets review 2023 : Wow it's easy to get rich now that I have the basic concept of googling things and wow is it not worth it to play this but damn the fleeting obsession and nostalgia outweighs the broken Flash-bound pages in my aching heart.
