While the Lucky Fox was anchored in the port of Augusta and much of the crew went off to procure work, Trixie was given terrible news. Her lifelong friend, Edison James, was murdered in his home 2 days before the Pirate Vixens arrived in Augusta. You see, Trixie had known Edison ever since they were ten years old. He was practically a brother to her. And to discover that he was killed...it just broke her. She tried to keep herself from crying but tears still formed. Only Kevin was with her at the time she received the news. He held her and tried to comfort her but he didn’t know what to say. No words could really ease the pain Trixie was feeling right now. When Black Jack returned to the ship and found out what happened, he tried to comfort her as well. The next day, Jack went out into town and did some digging. Through all of his contacts and some investigation, he only found two pieces of hard evidence. Number one, the man that killed Edison was both very large and very muscular; and number two, Edison was killed with an incredibly large blade; most likely some kind of oversized cleaver.
