I know I know I know I know. I need to work on Motoko's Character Sheet. Sadly it is boring the Hell out of me, and I need other projects on the side to keep me going. And this time around I wanted to do a Chibi. I've honestly never done them that well in the past and figured now was an opportunity in and of itself. Since I wanted to draw Rei again, it made more sense. so I got to work on doing this piece of her and Honestly I love how it turned out.
Yeah I used a more simple Cell-Shading technique, But..... In my Opinion, chibis look better with Cell Shading anyway.
Thanks. The boots had some inspiration from both Sailor Moon and Wonder Woman. Rest of the miko outfit including the bells on the boots are based off what I saw in other people's Miko outfit designs and I just knew I kinda sorta wanted them in my design too.
And yeah I do admit I should have made the arms a little shorter. It looks kinda weird now that I look at it.

That's pretty cute! I really like those boots, too. Her arms and legs might do well to be shorter, but that's more an opinion than a critique. Also, I agree that celshading is better for these, yeah.
