fel-diaz L-pack early read up version

sakroe

not quite pleased with the background considering how little effort went into it.... anyway.

this is another project i've been working on which has suffered greatly.... no immensely from bouts of procrastination on my part. i am however pleased to report, that it's back on track now.

i've taken bits and pieces from various other gundam and non-gundam units. 50 points to those who are able to guess some of them.

backstory drivel:

the CSMS-139 / fel-diaz was created by Juptoris Enterprises in the late years of the three-way war. designed after much industrial espionage and information was gathered from the various mobile suits that already participated in the war, the Fel-Diaz was a nasty surprise to both Lunar and Earth armies. boasting generally tougher armour with speed and agility that outmaneuvered most of the mass production mobile suits of the period, the Fel-Diaz was better in almost every way. Early Fel-Diaz units suffered from lack of operational range due to the number of thrusters on the unit, later models had improved propellant capacities as well as mission packs, among them, the L-pack, issued to only the best of Fel-Diaz pilots.

the L-pack equips the Fel-Diaz with an MIRV (multiple independent re-entry vehicle) capable 997mm bazooka that can fire standard super high explosive rounds, MIRV rounds and even tactical nuclear warheads. a heavy shield weighs the unit down but is offset by the numerous thrusters the pack adds on as well.

fortunately, MS pilots from both lunar and earth forces eventually learnt various methods of overcoming the Fel-Diaz which would normally include using weapons at greater range and ganging up on them. while the Fel-Diaz is a superb mass production mobile suit in its own right, it would still rely on the pilot's capabilities to carry the battle through.
