Tablet is out of commission and doing digital art with a mouse isn't ideal (wrist braces abound!).

...wasn't planning on having this character brought to the fursuit characters table until 2017, but circumstances arose that pushed his design forward by a couple years. He's a joint creation between my sister-in-law and myself, created specifically for the pre-school progress of her daughter/my lil' niece, Kate. She has this obsession with costumed people and she's unafraid of them, she's the only kid in her entire kindergarten not running away, screaming or crying at the appearance of Mickey and Minnie Mouse at someone's birthday.

That's a proverbial red flag to a bull for me, and since Rachael knows that I fursuit specifically, Ortzi came about from her asking me to create a character for her 5 - 10 year old schooling years (and for my benefit, a character I can literally become a kid again in!).

Ortzi's surname is a play on "colourful", and he's based mainly on the colours of the Australian flag and Kate's favourite colours, red & yellow. Whole HEAP of props to go with him, mainly favourite foods shown here along with a squeaky bone, superhero cape (I already own that!) and a utility belt filled with candy and stuff, but there's a styrofoam plane, a heart plushie and a bouncy ball I picked up at an op-shop for Chellios specifically which will be used for Ortzi once he's built and roaming around.

Planned that the plantigrade look would work for him, but after seeing a few corgi-based suits and other various canines, digitigrade is starting to come level with the original idea. I'll probably leave that up to the maker actually. I like being surprised :)

The fursuit collar with the oversized bell is an injoke between Rachael and I - when Kate's gone quiet, she's usually up to something (usually stacked chairs and reaching for the cookie jar, and she's only two and a half XD). I found a HUGE bell at a craft shop that'll work perfectly as the anti-sneaking deterrant for Kate, aha.

Maker-wise? I'm kinda really heartset on Autumn Fallings or PhoenixWolf Suits.
Ortzi is cute to an extreme level, has to be to work with my niece and her schoolfriends, so these two makers stand out most to me with the added cuteness factor, especially Autumn Fallings. The other choice is Mischief Makers (Rachael loves their suits, aha), so I have some time to save up for my options fortunately =3
