The idea of a termed "good" character turning evil had the tables been reversed, had the dice rolled in the favour of the darkness...so it's overtaxed and overdone, but if MLP:FiM can partake in it, I don't see why it can't apply to my chosen fandom. One of the arts that fell prey to me losing my computer and most of the HQ files and fonts I had stored on it. I did have a back-up, but not enough of them to ensure the previous bolded font I used for this piece survived the crush.

Even though this piece is so damned old, it's still something I'm pretty proud of. It's the whole emergence of the evil shade, the shadow, how a single pendulum swing could have gone one way...or the other. Ten Cents has become a bit of a muse for this sort of good/eveil, ying/yang exploration. He seems to be canon fodder for all my current ongoing what-if's and works in progress, hee.

I might lend my current art style to redrawing this piece sometime in 2015... I'd like to see if I can't make it look like it did in its original concept sketches. I finally have a monitor large enough to see all the little details (I previously had an 18" monitor, so yeah, tiny details were difficult af to get right!), so I might go back and redraw a couple concepts and see what I can cook up this year.

I miss drawing these boys like you wouldn't believe.

This image was the hell of a project, but I'm still happy with the end results :)
