I haven't drawn these two together in a literal dual-dog's age XD

Captain Jameson is Vel's adoptive father and CO of the DSF Elite ERS. He's a good man but he doesn't put up with much outside interference from anyone. Vel tends to test his patience with her shenanigans enough for him to have a hard edge to his usually gentle and caring personality.

This is a moment from "Origins" where (off-camera) things are slowly going south of the borderlines and Captain Holgate and Magellan show up to make things worse. Vel's reaction to the intrusion is normal for her; she doesn't want to fight per se, but Mage just pisses her off regardless XD

Vel's missing her official new patches in this one; left them off deliberately because freakin' spoilers man and nobody needs to see them yet lol
