Sakura is a shiny Sneasel that was caught and gifted to their trainer by Silver. When they where young, Silver met their trainer while in Azalea Town learning to make Apricorn balls from Kurt. Silver was still a little shit back then, but had respect for the young trainer due to having beat the Kanto league with only one Pokemon. The friendship was shaky and awkward at best. Before Silver left they traded apricorn balls they each made. The young trainer had a crush on Silver and gave him a Love Ball, while silver gave them a Lure Ball. Silver is, to this day, oblivious to their crush. Years later, before their second journey through Sinnoh, Silver visited the Johto ranch and gifted back the Love Ball, except now it held a shiny pink Sneasel.

Going from Silver to their new trainer was like whiplash to the young Sneasel. Sakura was painfully shy and even scared of Silver and some of his pokemon. Where Silver and his Pokemon where shut off and cold, this new trainer was open and easily excitable. Almost too much so. Over time, Sakura gained confidence, especially in her appearance. Unlike most Sneasel, Sakura is extra fluffy making her even more adored by pokemon and trainers alike. She eats up the attention and loves doing contests when ever they travel to Hoenn or Sinnoh. Her fluff covers the power gem on her chest.

While she is now some what of a snob, Sakura is still shy around new Pokemon. She can often be seen on the ranch teaching other Pokemon how to increase their confidence. Similar to her trainer, she has a massive crush on Silvers Sneasal/Weavile.
