On September 6th, I woke up to my husband telling me that my mother had passed away. She was 55. I'm trying to come to terms with everything and get back to "normal." My mom and I were close and her passing was very unexpected.
Just drawing out some feelings...

I lost my mom last year, though she was in her 70's. But I lost my dad nearly 20 years ago and he was only 56, so I understand what you're going through. It will take awhile and even then you'll still have negative emotions every so often............but it becomes bearable with time. Hang in there.
