The Fading Light.

Inktober Challenge Day 7;

I got tired of using pen & ink like I am supposed to (crosshatching, pointillism, etc) & getting mixed results. So, I fell back on my painter's instincts & used the ink like watercolors. The scanner did not catch all the nuance of this piece. Yes, I am 3 days behind.

Media: Ink on watercolor paper;
Time: 1 hr 10 min.
Size: 6” x 8”
Date: 2018

    Very nice work. My first thought when I saw the preview was: beautifully composed photography. Really well done.

      As long as it is ink, it does count. Thank you [Grin]

    I love the upper left corner most of all, those flecks of light that hint at the sky. A lesser artist would have neglected it. Marvelous!
