I once again used primarily colored pencil over charcoal with a touch of gouache here and there. This technique is a time saver, and lets me have finer control over color application on smaller sizes (like those of badges). Also, I applied the background color differently then normal (the black). I found a quicker and more controlled way to do it, which may allow me to do more color variation. This way is a lot more risky, and has more potential for catastrophic mistakes. Charcoal is that way, which is what the back grounds of my badges are. Any who, I am pleased with the out come. This one will be at MFF this year. Which I am hoping to get to if my transportation works out.
