Had a bit too much fun with the @Sketch_Dailies mermaid prompt and ended up with flat-out fish people. Work has had me drawing a bunch of fish anyway, so it was fun to expand upon the anatomy I've learned recently!
Pleased that I'm slowly getting quicker (ha) at this digital colorbarf-concept thing- I've always found it so easy to get fiddly with digital, moreso than any other medium I've used.

Thanks SO much! I only recently updated to CS6 from Photoshop...7... (oh dear), so it was quite a leap in technology. Even today I still feel my digital work is a sorry hack of what Ophryon/Tardigrad manages to do with Photoshop, but hopefully an original style will emerge at some point here!

Oh wow - that is a BIG upgrade. I started with 7 too, but my jump was b/w 7 and CS3. Your work is far from sorry and I see a personal style emerging already :D
