(n) a haunter of the woods ; one who loves the forest and its beauty and solitude

Hey , did you know my middle name is 'Hunter'? When I was in school, a few of my friends called me Haunter (Mainly because pokemon was just starting to be super popular here, yes I am that old.).

Ahem...I am from the wooded areas of New England, far from most cities but closer to large dense forests. In fact, right down the road from me is a national park. And of course, I love it all. My usual night time walky walk path has me wandering around a forest near by, it is a 3 mile journey through dark woods to get to my special place. That ... I will talk about in an upcoming picture.

That being said, I love the walk through it as much as I love the destination. It isn't really that dangerous here, we do have bears and the occasional wolf ... coyote ... and both red and grey foxes. Part of why I had originally started as a grey wolf is because we do actually have those here! Never seen one in the wild, but I did see a fox across the street once.

Sorry ... I'm rambling here huh? In short, I love the forest, when I venture away from my home on foot, it's pretty much a done deal that I am out roaming around in one. If I ever get mistaken for something and get shot, just know I died doing what I love!

Ahh,this is me.. me me me me me, me to a T. I lived my entire life in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, and there's more trees than people there. I moved out of the state last year to a city devoid of all things forest and animal and nature that I grew up with (not to mention no Lake Superior a mere 15-20min drive away, or 5min walk to the canal).

Super enjoying this series <3 I'd frame these and put them on my wall. It's refreshing to see minimalist work when I'm so often lost in intricate line art or deep layers upon layers upon layers of color work.
