jc (http://www.furaffinity.net/user/jc) is an old acquaintance, whom I mystically and regrettably managed to avoid directly meeting while she was at AC in 2010. I aim to remedy that this year if she makes it.

A long time ago, JC drew Rooth'roo, back in like 2004, or was it 2006.. anyhow, here we have a revisited Rooth'roo, 5 years later, done in an experimental style that's more realistic and paintlery than you saw in Rooth'ragon's canyon pic.

Here's Rooth'roo, happily exploring Rocky Mountain National Park in leaps and bounds. >:^) That's such a gorgeous background, I'm so thrilled with it, and the realistic style on Rooth'roo really worked nicely without detracting from his happy-go-lucky demeanor. I'm wearing this proudly on my HD TV right now. :) But it's in rotation with some good competition, which you'll see soon.

JC turned me on to several other artists from her native Taiwan and elsewhere, friends of hers somewhat new to the market that turned out to be excellent.   s8507055 (aka B.Cat),   nut-case, KamiTake, Net (her first ever commissioner was me!),   wfa (I think, or maybe he was an independent find), and   danboyya2000 (aka BenTen). You should definitely check them out also!
