I got some oil pastels recently after not touching them for 5 years (or maybe 6 years).
Results are... OK I guess, I honestly don't know much about blending, I just used my hands and a tissue and made red and yellow to get the orangey look. I had literally 5 colors. Also the eyes are done in ink. It worked somehow, but this is still really rough, sketch stands out a lot and the snout looks kind of flat.

Overall I kind of like this. Touching it up digitally helped bring out the colors a lot after I did this in horrible lighting. I really don't do much stuff traditionally, or if I do I never bother doing much with it and take it so I color in digital. Respect for anyone who can spend hours on paper..
