my characters in the real world...
in Monaco specifically. I went there briefly about 3 years ago now- I snapped a bunch of pictures on my phone, but I'm a terrible photographer. This was one of the few that stood out to me as being okay. I did a lot of editing, and had to adjust it to fit the characters a lot but I think it turned out really nice. Drawing aspect of this is okay. I think my lines were a bit thin here- but it works given the situation.

I've always been amazed (if that is the right word?) at the idea of cartoony characters in realistic environments... it's how a lot of my dreams are if you believe it. I don't question it, it's hard to describe too, but when you dream, I know that the part of your brain that "reasons", is not really awake, so it seems normal.
Also, when I was young, I wasn't that great at drawing admitively, but I knew my way around editing software. I'd cut transparent images/drawings into real pictures I had taken or saved and would shade it in and that stuff. It was really kind of bad... but it's a fun idea. This was fun to make again. I'd do it more, but as I said before I don't have any other good pictures. I like the environment here. Not much way for cool stuff where I live but maybe I'm not looking (maybe this summer or fall I will try again)
