Terms of Service

Read this before contacting me re: commissions/trades/requests. Once you contact me, I will assume you've read this document. I will not be held responsible for you not reading this.

1)Contact

2) References and Descriptions

I require visual references or a detailed description of your character(s).

Character sheets for references are preferred, but I understand not everyone has them. Images done by other artists, text descriptions and animal/object/clothing references from Google are fine. If these are not given, I will have to guess. If something is necessary, tell me. I am not responsible for changing things on a commission later due to the customer's oversight on a detail.

3)Payments

Payments under $50 are required in full. For payments over $50, 50% payment is required upfront, 50% upon completion. I can definitely do a payment plan on commissions over $50.

Payment is through paypal only. I will require your email address to send an invoice. Invoices must be paid within 24 hours.

4)** WIPs and modifications**

Up to 3 MAJOR corrections are permitted during initial sketching/plotting. Up to 5 minor corrections are permitted at any stage. After the customer has approved a stage, there are no changes to it.

Art: WIPs will be given on large commissions (badges, ref sheets) during sketch, inking/lineart and initial flat colouring. WIPs will be given on small commissions (icons, headshots) during sketch stage only.

5)Commission Updates

The Artist ensures the Client will receive email updates on commission when necessary. Clients are encouraged to check in when they feel it's necessary for updates, assurance or reminders. Public updates will also be made via twitter.com [redrighthandart/mysicksadlife] and tumblr [redrighthandart]

6) Refunds/Cancellation

I reserve the right to issue a refund and cancel a commission, at any time, due to:

Lack of communication
Rude, abusive, or inappropriate behaviour
Inability to communicate effectively
Harassment

If I am required to cancel a commission due to personal issues (unrelated to the reasons listed above), the commissioner will receive a full refund. Otherwise, refunds will be issued based on the amount of work done.

I reserve the right to refuse any commission, request or trade for any reason.

The commissioner may request a refund at any time BEFORE the final product is delivered. Refunds on client-cancellations will be issued based on the amount of work done.

For example, if you cancel when I’m in the initial sketch phase, you’ll get a larger portion refunded than if you cancel during flat colour.

There are absolutely no refunds on completed work.

7)Usage, Modification and Distribution

I retain full commercial and distribution rights on any image I produce. This means that all images produced by me are copyrighted to me.

I am open to commercial usage rights/copyright purchase, but this is on a case by case basis and pricing starts at over $200 USD on top of the normal charges. Please contact me for details.

Distribution includes, but is not limited to: FurAffinity, Weasyl, DeviantArt, Tumblr

Modification includes poses, scenarios and plots being recycled/excerpted. Characters not owned by me will not be included in any modifications.

The commissioner may use the commission image at any size as they please FOR PERSONAL USE ONLY. That excludes commercial purposes (logos, SecondLife, selling their own prints). No profit is to be made off the image. Alterations to the image are NOT ALLOWED without my written consent (I’m pretty easy-going with this).

You may post work commissioned from me to your own gallery, blog or website with intact watermark and credit. Full-resolution/unwatermarked pieces may not be reposted or uploaded anywhere.

I do not allow my work to be posted on InkBunny at all. No exceptions. If you repost my work to IB, a DMCA notice will be issued without warning.

8) Approved and Refused subject matter

I will draw:

-G to X-rated
-All fetishes except pedophilia, on a case-by-case basis. I’m cool with just about anything, but may refuse a fetish I personally find triggering.
-Cub/diaper on a case-by-case basis.

I will not draw:

-Pedophilia (non-graphic or “cute” cub/diaper does not count as pedophilia),
-Mechs/vehicles (I do not feel that I could do these correctly)
-Scat
