After the final battle with Lord Blazer and world of Filgaia was finally saved, So, Ashley, Brad, Lilka, and Kanon decided to do a group photo of them for fond memories which years later. Also, to answer your question on why just these certain characters cause I've had fun playing with as them through their origin stories and have to save loved how the gamed ended with excellent song playing on the final battle.
