Going Rogue (critique requested)

ratcabob

After nearly 10 years of not working in Watercolors I have finally decided to give it another shot with a slightly different approach this time; with inked lines and watercolor pencils for foundation. My father in-law was my inspiration for getting back into the medium since he is a wonderful watercolor painter himself.

This character is new, and she does not have a name as of yet. In this piece I am portraying her at a crossroads in her life. Here she has decided to abandon what she holds dear to live the solitary and dangerous life of a hired killer. She as reasons behind her choices, but that is all the story I have given her thus far.

I hope you guys like it!

Traditional Medium: Watercolor, Watercolor pencils, ink pen, and silver shimmer powder (this does not show well in the scan).

Total time worked: Roughly 10 hours
