A Mountain pack Lai and a Dessert pack Lai about to get into a fight.

Lai's live in packs and packs within the same region get along. But outside tend to not.

Plains Lai tend to be the neutral pack which can generally pass through Dessert or Mountain packs if they don't cause trouble. Dessert and Mountain packs however do not give much more than a second glance before they begin fighting for territory.

Naturally though desserts and mountains aren't very close together, or are separated by plains, so these fights are rare.

Lai's self generate electricity, this is how they maintain their body to stay afloat. When angry or in a fight the electrical currents become amplified.

The electricity is naturally focused in the head mainly, secondarily in the tail, and everything else gets an even flow. Being that most energy is in the head, when in such situations the electricity will become more visible.

Lai's will give a bite that will send a huge jolt of electricity through the victims body. This is their strongest attack. Against a non-lai creature this will either immediately knock out the victim or might even kill them.

Additionally they can head-but or jab (depending on the position of their ear/horns) the victim which will give a still powerful but weaker jolt of electricity. About the same thing goes for the tails, but tails are not commonly used in fighting.
