The second illustration project I've done for my senior year. The story is rather simple, a magical vase sold in a secondhand shop - at night the painted dragon becomes a real one. This little dragon is friendly, he likes to keep one company and he can change his size from being small enough to ride on a shoulder to large enough that his owner can hitch a ride on him.

Yeah, I needed some sort of still life for my portfolio.... but I find painting completely inanimate objects boring. Thus, I added a narrative. :)
