Based on an idea from SHelmigh on Twitter, I decided to whip up some banners on the four deities of Arakhavia, my faux-Byzantine fantasy setting. A primer on these four are below.

ARALISI, Beast Queen - Fire / Good / Leonine - Goddess of combat, medicine and passion. Will not hold her worshipers' hands, but will guide them in secret to the strength they need to be more than they are. Lover of Veravela, loyal to Ranaton, often annoyed with Rotorzi. Opposes the titan Vashvara, the Monstrous Mistress. Based off of Sekhmet mixed with Crom.

VERAVELA, Moon Mistress - Water / Neutral / Fey Foxes and Elves - Goddess of the arts, wisdom and dreams. Visions she sends to her faithful in dreams are vague, forcing them to use their own minds to form meaning. Consort to Aralisi, advisor to Ranaton, playful rival of Rotorzi. Opposes the titan Culatu, Sultan of Sorcery. Based off of Thoth mixed with Aset (Isis).

RANATON, King of Order - Earth / Lawful / Humans and Dwarves - God of community, the natural world and the honored dead. Cares deeply for mortals, but will not oblige unjust prayers or cruel actions in his name. Keeps Aralisi's wrath in check, an elder god like Veravela and thus holds kinship, and puts up with Rotorzi as he can. Opposes the titan Gazenzont, Keeper of Terrors. Based off of Ra mixed with Osiris.

ROTORZI, Storm Lord - Air / Chaotic / Gnolls - God of storms, travel and trickery. His influence on mortals is capriciously offered, but those who witness it cannot deny the explosive nature of his favor. Loves to test Aralisi's patience, tries to outfox Veravela's fey wits, and loves making Ranaton squirm despite showing (reluctant) fealty. Opposes the titan Yevarkan, Unbridled Reveler. Based off of Set mixed with Hermes.
