Peace Treaty

Oxana smiled to herself as the little squirrel struggled, the bushy tail twitching wildly as it hung from her closed mouth. Twiss had been a thorn in Oxana's side for far too long, but she had finally managed to pin the slippery little squirrel down in a town near the mountains. Now the tiny bandit's armor and weapon had been discarded, and she was struggling futilely in Oxana's thick gullet.

But it was time to finish this. Oxana had work to do.

Oxana tilted her head back, "biting" forward and letting gravity help as she pulled more of the fluffy tail into her mouth. Soon it had disappeared entirely, and she made a heavy swallow, the lump sliding down her throat and disappearing into her abdomen. She felt the squirming creature settle in her gut, and let out a satisfied sigh. She wasn't even big enough to make a bulge -- she had vanished entirely.

Oxana grinned. Disappearing was what the little squirrel did best, after all.

Her meal finished, Oxana turned her attention back to the desk in the small inn room she had rented and brought the captured squirrel to. A piece of paper was spread out on the desk, the words on it only half-finished. Oxana sat and picked up her quill, dipping it in the nearby container of ink, before going back to drafting the peace treaty. She would be presenting it to the other clans soon -- maybe she would bring along some of the squirrel's things, a small demonstration of what would happen to any clan that refused the treaty.

Yes, that would do nicely.

I played a game of Armello with my wife and a friend the other day, and at one point, Oxana attacked and completely destroyed Twiss... and then offered a peace treaty to everyone the next day. Now that's diplomacy!

This is just a sketch, but I've been thinking that I need to post more sketches. I think one of my problems is that I want to finish everything, and that stops me from drawing a lot of things because it seems like too big a project.
