Well, at least she doesn't have to worry about finding breakfast.

Meet Cerise, an arctic fox (currently in her summer coat).

When Cerise was younger, she "volunteered" (read: was grabbed off the street) to assist a mage with his magical experiments. His spells fused her with plant matter, which ended up with an interesting result: her body is filled to the brim with powerful pheromones. Even a whiff of her breath can, at close range, be enough to blank out your mind to the point where all you care about is getting more. And Heaven help you if you kiss her!

After eating the mage performing the experiments (three guesses how that happened) and escaping, Cerise went mad with power for a while. Accustomed to a rough life on the streets, she suddenly found she could make anyone do anything just by breathing on them. Shopkeepers would empty their shelves for her. Merchants would give her all their gold. She could take anyone she fancied to her bed (or her belly) with little fuss. She felt like a queen, or even a goddess.

Of course, you can't act like that for long without attracting notice, and she soon found herself pursued by a group of adventurers hired from the Adventurer's Guild. Cerise quickly learned that she was not as invincible as she thought; specially made masks countered her pheromones quite effectively, and at least one member of the group appeared to be outright immune to her. The adventurers captured her without much trouble.

Cerise works for the Guild now, and though she likes to sleep in and joke around, she is capable of taking her job seriously when she has to. She does have to be occasionally reminded to not use her pheromones to take advantage of people. And, of course, every once in a while a new member of the guild will be unaware of the need to keep their distance from her while she's sleeping (though Cerise considers this kind of thing more of a "perk" than a "problem.") But overall, she gets along fine with the other Guild members and is happy to have, for once, a roof over her head that she can actually call "home."
