Sadist's Whisper by QuentixStarwing

Sadist's Whisper

What is it but the sight upon the visual?
there shall a limit to my gains?
SHOULD there be a limit to my desires?
That will be something to guess at.

A burden that only I shall carry from point
That is the weight that it causes while being me
A singing sword shall swing down and sweep through thee
Finding that part and that shall bring a grin across my features
Which grain was it that you tasted? From the base of my boot
A kick across the face and a knee to the upperback

Who has cast me the monster?
None have, simply that which shows itself
The shadow grows with each step that is taken
Casting a wider show across the ground
Gravel ground, stone castle floors, or hidden dungeon
Thy little shall suffer

For I am the Sadist's Whisper and they shall decide what to do with you.

Sadist's Whisper

The first poem of 2017 and it is an interesting title, even more to have waited this long to write it. I've let it fester and it became something different than I expected. But I like it! Here we have my first poem to be dropped off a little after the new year's start! Here's hoping that it is going to be a good one.

Here we go!
