So the other night I had a bit of an epiphany: I'm recreating sounds too often instead of making my own sounds. Therefore, I decided it best to ease my way out of it by making sounds similar to, but not identical to, sounds I use to death.
This particular cover instrumental makes use of Series III samples making a sound similar but not identical to a Korg M1 piano/choir patch used heavily by Gary Numan as well. The rhythm section, which is a recreation of Tears for Fears' "Shout", was admittedly given less time, but I was focused on making the piano layer sound both good to my ears and useable for anyone.
