Another faun, another instrument. At this point I probably have a full band! When I decided to draw a drummer, I was originally going to go with a longer, sort of vase shape to the drum. But then I did some actual research (well, okay, Google image search), and discovered that would be geographically inappropriate. Ancient Greek drums are less impressive looking, and the shape nixed my original idea of having the drummer also dancing, but what can you do?
Anyway, faun drummer. Enjoy.

I'm picturing the group getting together for a session in some sunlit glade and it's beautiful. Neat seeing the different instruments with them, loving the creativity of each pose/design.

Yeah, I just wish I'd planned the things they're sitting on better. I'm not sure I can actually get them all in the same picture, on account of the piper sitting on a fallen log.

I do so love your freckly faun band and their jam session. They've got some great individual character already, and they're having fun to boot!
Seems they just need to hire some roadie acolytes - and a tour cart - and this ritual will be all ready to go on the road. Although now I'm getting this mental image of a 300 BCE Spinal Tap-style mockumentary following them around while they bicker about whether adding a bagpiper would ruin the sound or if they'll have the funds for a gig at Avebury.
