Ostensibly the featured character of a comic strip I still have not read, but whom I was drawn to larger, colored illustrations of during a [different] strange period of my life.
If you have noticed and wondered where my unusual preoccupation with partially dressed characters comes from, it wasn't necessarily this, but it certainly shares blame with allowing the situation to continue. Most, if not all of those pictures are dated 1999 or earlier. I think this is a style which went out with that decade, for the most part. Probably for the best! Unfortunately the psychological damage has been done, clearly, if I made this recently.

Also, every time I post this somewhere, somebody who missed the point of the picture tries to tell me that this character "is" wearing pants and links to "proof" of that. I think they then also are missing the point of a joke (like saying that Foghorn Leghorn does not actually have feathers but just wears white pajamas), and maybe that is just what they do in their lives. In any event, I drew the picture so only I know for certain, and I say no.
