I lost interest. That was all. I tried adding shoes in a later picture but it did not alter my motivation a great amount. I am uncertain if this is a natural process of liking one thing for a while and then liking something else or if I desensitized myself to everything by posting all this business on websites. You probably noticed that the pose variety dwindled in addition to the creature variety.
I wonder also if the ease with which I lost interest (and disliked commissions that did not meet strict, strange criteria) was related to me not having any great intellectual attachment to the subject matter. I thought that would help me keep it separate from my "real" art but perhaps that ultimately undermines my ability to get anything out of it.
