"It doesn't make sense," Chomby said, looking between the corpulent dragon and himself. He knew what the dragon said was true - they were similar sizes now. Chomby didn't know them personally, but he knew he'd seen them only yesterday. They were not this big. "Syd, was it?"

"Yes," Syd said, hefting up the mass of belly he had acquired. "You see, my friend Sarge... likes to make potions... he's notorious for that. Everyone calls him the 'fluffmaster'." Syd snarled, looking down at his belly. "He called this one the 'Chomby-size' potion."

"And my name is Chomby..." Chomby remarked absently, looking back up at Syd. "Why would someone make a 'Chomby-Size' potion? Why make a potion after me?"

Syd looked Chomby up and down and rolled his eyes. His frown quickly turned into a wry grin. "Oh... knowing it was Sarge who made this... and now knowing your name is 'Chomby'... I can assume why," Syd dropped his belly heft, letting it rest at his knees.

Chomby looked up, baffled as to how Syd already figured out the mystery. "Really? Why?"

Though Syd felt a bit embarrassed to mention the history between him, Sarge, and... basically anyone that Sarge encountered, he figured Chomby needed to know the situation. After a good several minutes, Chomby's frown also turned into a smile.

"Really? He thinks I look attractive?" Chomby chortled.

"More so than you'd think," Syd said, patting his belly. "Best not question it, though."

"I'm gonna question it, but only cuz I wanna know more," Chomby patted his own belly contemplatively. "Sounds like my kinda guy!"

This was another bit of silly practice with just sketching a picture and not refining it in any way to see what results I could get in as fast of a timeframe as possible. (Barring the extra color details I had to do for Chomby, this sketch took me an hour (hour and thirty minutes when including Chomby's full color scheme).)

It also helped as a bit of a stress reliever. I really love drawing Chomby. His proportions are just too fun!
