I can kind of see the logic behind having them, as some shark species are rather (superficially) mammal-like, with the live birth and all. They make slightly more sense than they do on birds, at least.

That's true. And I forget sharks are like something so ancient that they're more or less related to all things. I think I even read somewhere that wolves were possibly vaguely related to them???? I can't remember. Too much Animal Planet as a kid, and these days you can't learn a single fucking thing from those science/history/discovery channels so I haven't been back to watch as I used to.

They're kind of like cousins to everything else, if that makes sense, but I don't recall anything about wolves specifically. And yeah, I gotta agree with you about all the ostensible 'science' channels. For instance, I tuned in to the History Channel once and saw Larry The Cable Guy jerking off a dog. Never again.

Welp it's official. I've given up on TV. Brb gonne start collecting years worth of DVDs of old science programs to show to my kids or whatever and NEVER SHOW THEM CABLE OR SATTELITE TV EVER AGAIN.
