Competing in the big-league circuit requires extensive modifications to the driver's body in order to interface with the vehicle and to survive the massive g-forces inherent in driving a vehicle with a higher top speed than most military aircraft. These modifications are of course permanent, but that isn't much of a concern. Why? Because if you win even a single major race, you'll have enough money to retire in your early twenties. If you lose... well, there are no losers in GravLev racing. Only fatalities."
