A major character from a project of mine called "Bright Skies" (formerly "Skyfox"). Originally a take-off on Disney's Talespin setting, it has taken something of a life of its own... and possibly wandered away from being anthropomorphic and closer to "Sky Captain" in tone. It's hard to be certain, since it has become more prose than art. I might post odd bits from this projects, including old concept art and the like.

Maggie here is spunky heiress (and ace pilot) of Sutherland Air Freight, who launches a new subdivision, called "Skyfox", a secure packet service that dares take the most direct route through the pirate-infested air lanes. Built around a purpose-built armored "Blackfox" courier, the daring air crews of Skyfox intend to outwit, outfly, outgun, — and if necessary, outrun — any hazard.

Too bad they are unprepared for the real looming threat of the era that will soon embroil everyone and make allies of enemies and bring a new air war to the skies...
