My father and I had written this song when we had to put down our beloved dog Nana. She was a young dog when it happened and till this stay we are still unsure of how it even became to be. All we knew was that she had a tumor made of blood-cells which had been bleeding out into her abdomen. She was tired all the time and she wasn't acting like herself anymore. My father and I both knew that she was suffering, there were things that could have been done but it would have only prolonged the inevitable; we knew she would have only continued to suffer if we didn't put her down. What made it harder was that Nana was my dog and I was the one who had to made the decision; I chose to bring her home for one last night so everyone could say their good-byes. Rest in Piece my girl, You shall always be in my heart.
