Downloaded Sculptris sometime around 10pmish? and because I'm a masochist instead of using a tutorial and making a horn or something simple, I went here instead. This is the first time I use any kind of 3d program, so I'm really not looking for crits; though tips/resources, are welcome if you model, of course. The hardest part was probably getting the default ball anywhere near "rectangular-ish". :B
I know it needs work, but for now, I'm pretty proud of this thing.
:'D Oh noes, I can't cheat on human faces though!
Thanks though! And he may appreciate a scratch or two, Asha is probably getting tired of having that huge head on her lap by now anyway.
Wow, you did a fine job on this! I've been meaning to try Sculptris. I've tried Blender before but people say Sculptris is much more intuitive! Did you think it?
Raja is so sexy, now in 3D. <3
Ahh, thanks Nay.
I think it's still faulty. but for a first time, not bad. I've always shied away from 3d because the programs looked so complicated, but sculptris is pretty straightforward. You start out with a ball of "clay" and several simple tools (pinch, pull, crease, draw/add, flatten...)So it's kinda like playing with regular clay, minus the mess and sticky hands. You can add more spheres if you want, too.
you did an amazing job! You know you can actually get things 3d printed from sculpts like these now! Imagine a Raja figure O U O IDBUYTHAT
This came out great for a first time. Jelly. I need to try this program. Raja looks good and well formed out. Lot of time and patience. XD good job.
