Concept of a new character that turned into a speed paint because I wanted to relax a bit and distract myself from lifeeee.

Caneo
There once was a doe pure white as snow who was slain by a dozen arrows to her back. Once her body was split, inside a child--small but no babe--was held. The child woke from the womb and escaped into the woods, and the hunters say as she ran, she turned into a fawn most silvery grey and faded into the mist of that bright morning day.

Though she lost her mother, the child suckled on life from the forest and as her mother did before her, she became its protector. She is beloved by most forest-dwellers and is the one deer in the forest which the hunters will not fire at, for they know the trees themselves would turn and strangle them if they were to try. Caneo controls water in all forms, including ice (when it is cold), steam/mist/clouds, and the water in the plants (thus effectively controlling them). She can even create illusions using the water to make shapes (usually as mist, like how clouds can form shapes--though hers are more precise). Insects hold a strange attraction towards her (just as many other forest animals do), but her most-favored bugs are butterflies and fireflies.
She is kindly and gentle, and she uses her illusions for defense before going to any actually harmful measures. She is timid and playful and enjoys "dancing" with the real deer in the area. The creatures of the forest tend to protect her from harm, though they can get uneasy around her humanoid form, so she much prefers the silver deer (pictured above).
Her eyes usually reflect the color of the sky, but their actual color is white. She speaks in old Latin (her name means "silver" ), though she usually doesn't interact with humans if she can avoid it. If she does have to be around them, however, she usually conjures a simple dress to wear out of plants(though she prefers not wearing anything at all). She is awkward and unsure around humans and will run at the slightest hint of danger.
