Foxaroo at Thirlmere photo #34

Myself in Partial fursuit, taken at the New South Wales Rail Transport Museum at Thirlmere.

Ahhhhh! Now this is something. The superb 86 class electric locomotive (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_South_Wales_86_class_locomotive). You can't really see the pantograph (apparatus that collects the electricity from overhead wires), but trust me there's two on the roof. These beautiful, relatively quiet and environmentally-friendly locomotives, like their older cousins the 85 class, were retired prematurely due to politics. When the freight trains in New South Wales were privatised, Freightcorp didn't want to pay the exorbitant rates for electricity, so they abandoned the 85's & 86's and used diesel locomotives only.
