While strolling through the park one day
It was in the merry merry month of May

She responded with a shy remark

That lovely afternoon
I met her at the fountain in the park

For some reason, I had the desire to hear this song, so I ended up youtubing it, and this image surfaced. XD Bernard in his attempts to impress Shar-On by singing this melody to her while dancing abouts, no doubt. Of course, he's being a bit more bold than I imagine he'd be in the other zones I've tampered with him thus far. ;P

This image, of course, spawned the idea for a jazz age Angel Island, which is submerged underwater with a Bioshock theme to it. Shar-On's parents are trying to wed her off to a wealthy man, who she finds loves his money more than her, while Bernard uses Shar-On's beauty and sweet nature in his songs he sings on stage while playing the piano (though doesn't admit to her that all his songs are about her until he finally gets a chance to know her). Still into art, he is just a bit more of a song writer and pianist than anything in this zone. ;3

With Shar-On's puffy Victorian type dress switched for a more jazzy one, kurodemangaka started doing a really sweet comic of the idea, and I am enjoying it thus far. 8D

Bernard is very much based off of one of my favorite writers: F. Scott Fitzgerald, the writer of The Great Gatsby, as his undying love for Zelda (who was the inspiration for Princess Zelda in Legend of Zelda, for those of you who don't know) was what prompted him to even rewrite one of his own characters in This Side of Paradise. One could also argue he could very well be based off of my other favorite author, Edgar Allen Poe (though, a less morbid version), or that, his artistic side is similar to Jack from The Titanic movie as he does enjoy using women as his premise for art and enjoys drawing them nude. (Naughty boy).

Shar-On's eye color, I wasn't sure on, so they may change. I just wanted Ryssa to have something from her mother, so I slapped the orange on there. Bernard is heavily into his plaid--he cannot help it 83
