The mask for my LARP character Yara. This is being made with scrap leather and will be lined with a fine breathable cloth that will also cover the mouth and nostrils in the back. The mask will also be darkened with ground artist charcoal, painted with watered down acrylic, distressed, and have additional leather panels that will wrap to the back of my head. An iron clasp will be used for the back closure.
